If you're wondering how much we loved playing Enemies & Lovers by @blackholly for the first time last night, scroll to the third pic to see a text from my husband today. 😂 But forreal, this game is amazing and I see us playing this regularly for years to come! 💛 It was so fun and once you learn how each card works you go through rounds fairly quickly. We were having so much fun we ended up playing 13 rounds last night after 2 practice rounds! (Kieran won 7, I won 6 🎉). The game is so well thought out, and there's no one trick to win, so everytime you play you have to think of a whole new strategy. The cards are GORGEOUS. 😍 (This is my regular playing deck in the photo. I was lucky enough to also get the two special edition decks but those will be remaining in the sealed wrappers on my bookshelf lol) For the record, my husband has never read any of the books--he knew a small amount of info from how much I've talked about them over the years--but you definitely don't need prior knowledge of the books to understand and love the game! It was fun getting to explain the different cards to him and it was even more fun to find a connection to each character's card and their character in the book! Thank you, Holly, for sharing another brilliant creation of yours. I hope we eventually get to see these on shelves one day! (I'm going to need another deck if we keep up with how much we're playing 😂) I look forward to scheming more great schemes! ☕️
