Another one brought to life by King David’s Contractors!

We built Soma Theory, a wellness space where you can recharge, recover, and yes, freeze your butt off with cryotherapy.

From the construction site to the finished space, this one was a great project to be part of.

How many pocket doors is too many?! I'm ready to install all of these. I love how @cavitysliders makes pocket doors accessible and easy. The typical pocket door can have so much go wrong with it and be hard to install but Cavity Sliders makes has thought of everything.

Check your pocket door before the drywall goes up.

Build a simple “dummy door” out of 2-by material to test the @cavitysliders hardware before hanging the finished door during construction.

A little prep now makes it easier to catch an issue while everything is still accessible.

Do you hang the finished door to test yours, or build a dummy?

@cavitysliders brings character to this space with a sleek grey-toned door featuring distinctive vertical grooves, adding subtle texture and dimension to the clean, contemporary design. Paired with the adjacent black-framed window, the contrasting tones create a refined balance of warmth, texture, and modern edge.

Pocket doors? Let’s do a quick walkthrough of assembling the cavity slider frames.
Starting with the frame.

Putting together these cavity slider frames for a double pocket door. They’re pretty straightforward to assemble, but the key is making sure the frame is perfectly square.

Taking the time to get it right during assembly makes installation go much smoother and helps prevent problems with the doors down the road.

Square frame = smooth installation = properly functioning pocket doors.

It's not about perfection, it's about fixing mistakes intelligently when they happen. Work with companies, they've heard it all before.

Last week @buildshowlive I got some amazing input from Jonathan about how to fix a mistake we made with a @cavitysliders frame. Stay tuned for the fix.
