🏁 RACE WEEK! 🏁

This weekend, we’re back at Formula K for another round of the SASCS — South African Short Circuit Series! 🔥

We’ve been working hard between races to iron out a few issues from our last meeting at Redstar Raceway. Despite the challenges, we still managed to come away with the overall Senior victory — so we’re heading into this weekend hungry for more! 🏆

Unfortunately, Blake has decided to sit this round out as he continues to recover to 100%. We wish him a smooth recovery and look forward to having him back soon. 💪

That means Cayden will once again be flying the flag for the team this weekend! 👊

🎥 Take a ride onboard with Cayden as he attacks Red Star Raceway during one of the practice sessions from the last round, captured courtesy of the Insta360 X4 Air.

A massive thank you to our incredible sponsors for believing in us and making it possible for us to compete. Your continued support means everything to our team. 🙌

🏁 What a race day at Red Star Raceway this past weekend! 🏍️🔥

It was a weekend filled with hard-fought racing, plenty of determination, and valuable championship points. We’re proud of the effort put in by the entire team, and we’d like to thank everyone who supported us throughout the event.

🏁 That’s a wrap from Red Star Raceway! 🏍️💨

What a brilliant day of racing! It was a hard-fought weekend with plenty of challenges along the way. We encountered a few setup issues, and despite the team’s best efforts, we weren’t able to completely resolve them. Sometimes that’s just the way racing goes.

Even so, Cayden rode with determination all day, overcoming the challenges to secure a fantastic 2nd place in the Senior category overall. Better still, this result sees Cayden reclaim the lead of the championship, putting him back at the top of the standings. 👏🏆

It was also fantastic to see Blake Robert back on the grid after recovering from injury. He put together a confident performance to finish 4th overall in the Junior category, and we’re excited to see him continue building from here. 💪

Following Race 2, all of the bikes were wrapped, sealed and taken away for technical inspection to ensure they comply with the regulations. We fully welcome this initiative by MSA and are 100% confident that our motorcycles are completely legal and comply with all the rules, specifications and technical regulations.

A massive thank you to everyone who made this event possible—from the race officials, marshals, medics, organisers and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, to our families, supporters and fellow competitors for another fantastic day of racing.

And finally, a huge thank you to our incredible sponsors. Without your continued support, none of this would be possible. We are proud to represent you on and off the track.

🏁 Race 1 Report – MSA Short Circuit Series GP | Red Star Raceway

Our boys gave it everything in Race 1! 💪

Cayden Robert battled handling issues throughout the race, losing the front on several occasions and costing him valuable time. Despite the setback, he dug deep, fought his way back through the field to secure a fantastic third-place finish. 🥉

The team has identified the issue, and with the bike sorted, we’re looking forward to seeing Cayden come back even stronger in Race 2. 👊

Blake Robert delivered a sterling performance on his return to racing after a lengthy spell away from the track. He brought the bike home without any issues and crossed the line in a solid 4th position in the JNR category – a great result to build on. 👏

A massive thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters for making this possible. Your continued support keeps us on the grid and chasing results! 🙌

We’ve recently put the QJMOTOR SRK450RR to the test around the racetrack, and you’ll be able to read our full review in Issue 66 of Moto Rider World! 🏁🏍️

While we were at it, we thought we’d have a little fun… so we cheated just a bit and asked ChatGPT to create three different race prototype versions of the QJMOTOR SRK450RR.

To say we were surprised would be an understatement! 🤯 The concepts came out looking seriously impressive, and each one has its own unique race-bike personality.

Now it’s over to you! 👇

🏁 Which one is your favourite?
- Picture 1
- Picture 2
- Picture 3

We absolutely love all three, and we genuinely hope to see something like this become a reality one day. We think the QJMOTOR SRK450RR would make an incredibly fun, lightweight and seriously quick little track bike!

Let us know your favourite in the comments! 👇🔥

We spent this past Saturday putting the QJMOTOR SRK 450 RR through its paces at Redstar Raceway for a full track review, coming soon in Moto Rider World Issue 66.

To say we were impressed would be an understatement. The little 421cc inline-four took us straight back to the days of the legendary CBR400s and other high-revving four-cylinder machines that demanded to be ridden hard. It delivers that addictive supersport scream and puts a smile on your face every time the revs climb.

For R104,995, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another motorcycle that offers this level of performance, specification and pure riding enjoyment. Producing 76.4 hp at 14,000 rpm from its 421cc inline-four, the SRK 450 RR is equipped with premium components including Marzocchi suspension, Brembo brakes, a Bosch ECU, traction control, launch control, TPMS, dual-channel ABS, a 7-inch TFT display and a 16.5-litre fuel tank. It genuinely punches well above its weight.

Our only real criticism is the ABS. We found it to be quite intrusive on track and, unfortunately, while the rear ABS can be switched off, the front cannot. It’s a minor drawback on what is otherwise an incredibly entertaining motorcycle.

Overall, QJMOTOR has done a fantastic job with the SRK 450 RR. It delivers an authentic inline-four experience that many riders have been missing, reminding us why lightweight, high-revving supersport bikes have always held a special place in the hearts of enthusiasts.

We’ll have a full breakdown of the bike, including our complete track test from Redstar Raceway, in Moto Rider World Issue 66, so make sure you grab a copy.

If the SRK 450 RR has caught your eye, or you’re interested in test riding one of the QJMOTOR models, we highly recommend getting in touch with QJMOTOR Sandton if you’re in the Sandton or Fourways area. If you’re on the East Rand, around Boksburg or Benoni, be sure to visit Primrose Motorcycles. Both dealerships will be able to help you find the right QJMOTOR for your riding needs.
