PROGRESS. 📈🐻

Another good day of fall league for The South.

Started the day with a strong performance with a double digit win, then went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the state in Edgewater before they pulled away late.

More connected. More competitive. More confident in what we’re doing.

We’re seeing the work translate and starting to see glimpses of what this group can become.

A lot of progress made. A lot more work ahead.

Keep building. 🧱

ANOTHER STEP FORWARD. 📈🐻

The progress continues. We’re playing harder, communicating better, and becoming more connected on both ends of the floor.

We’re nowhere near where we want to be yet—but each time out, we’re looking more like the team we want to become.

Keep stacking days. Keep building.

A strong start to fall league, but more importantly, we’re seeing progress. 🐻

Defensively, we played with aggression, energy, and togetherness. Offensively, our chemistry continues to grow as we learn to play for one another.

Still a lot to improve. Still a lot to build.

South Marion Basketball is on the rise. 📈

June is in the books. 📚

Our final stop was the FABC Live Period, where we finished 3-1 against quality competition and gave our players an opportunity to compete in front of college coaches from across the state.

This summer wasn’t about chasing wins—it was about building habits, gaining experience, and setting the standard of South Marion Basketball. Every camp, every practice, and every game helped lay another brick for what’s ahead.

Shoutout to our players for the work they’ve put in, and congratulations to this weekend’s top performers:
🏀 MJ Jackson – 18 PPG | 12 RPG
🏀 Cayden Croskey – 15 PPG | 4 APG
🏀 Zack Ross – 13 PPG | 6 RPG

The work doesn’t stop here 🐻

Averaging 20 PPG so far and making an impact every time he steps on the floor. High-IQ guard with a skilled offensive bag, strong work ethic, and the ability to take over games. Just getting started. 📈🔥
