Ministry isn’t only microphones and pulpits... sometimes it’s rakes, gloves, and compassion. 🌱❤️
The church isn’t just a building, it’s people showing up. Today the men cleaned up a senior member’s yard to remind her she’s not forgotten. THIS is love in action. ❤️ #ValleyCrossroads #LoveYourNeighbor #ChurchInTheStreets

Travelpy:

The peace, calm, and healing resolve gained through travel experiences. @onmycouchhh

When my Grandma died a piece of me died with her. I felt like the veil that had covered and protected me for 35 years was gone. She was everything to me. I felt so lost without her and most days I still feel pretty lost. I quit my job because I was so unhappy. Grief is one hell of an experience. To help me cope, I started gardening in honor and in memory of my beloved Grandmother. Gardening helped, but something was missing. I was invited at the last minute to go on a cross country road trip from NC to LA with my extended family. Y’all know me…#SayLess My trip was only supposed to last 1 week and ended up lasting 1 month. I’m so thankful for this time. It was what I needed. This trip restored me. I’m forever grateful. Even in pain and sorrow Life is still so beautiful. ❤️✨

Meet the second set of twins in the family. Both of my sister's Now have twins, I guess it only runs on the female side of the bloodline.🤣🤣

🦃 Happy Thanksgiving ! Today I learned that it’s not all about eating stuffed turkey or Tofurkey (although they are both delicious 😋)...it’s about giving back and serving others🙏🏽🍁. It was such a blessing today to serve alongside my buddy, CJ. We learned so much while having such a wonderful time. (scroll to the end to hear our impromptu Jam Session 😎🎶. It was LIT 🔥)! #thankful

⭐️Before Communion Service we do the “Ordinance of Humility”-foot washing, as explained in John 13:1-17. My bro CJ and I are old enough to participate now, so we get to join all the men on their side and don’t have to hang with our Mama’s on the women’s side anymore !!! 😂😁👍🏼👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽 #GrowingUpIsAwesome #Footwashing #Discipleship #OrdinanceOfHumility #communion #BoysToMen #RiteOfPassage #MenofGod #Mentors
