Today we released a new record by my dear bro forever Chris Bierden. I had the extreme pleasure to get to help have a hand in making this thing. Many of these songs were recorded at @pachydermstudios in 2022, but many more began much earlier in various studios and bedrooms. @jeremyylvisaker and I spent the last year+ finishing the ones that needed finishing, and it’s been a total honor to get to work with him on it.

We also got to mix Dream Space with the legend Mark Nevers! @beechhouserecording .. Mark’s guidance and visions for these songs was a thrilling and rewarding process to experience, and the care he gave to this project will forever be appreciated.

@cbierden man, you made another incredible record! It’s amazing to think back to these early sessions. An actual capsule of a record. Congrats brother !!

Elite master job by @huntleymiller , and sick cover art by @caseydeming !!

Chris Bierden - “Dream Space” (2026)
Today you can listen to a Bandcamp-only early release of an entirely new album by Chris Bierden. Recorded over many years, in many places, and with many people, Dream Space cements Chris Bierden as a god-tier songwriter and performer. The album will hit all platforms later this month, with a vinyl release coming soon.

Full credits available at the Bandcamp page.

Oof, can’t believe I finally get to say this... Orchard is out today 🍎 This collection is a mixed bag of songs — some written more than a decade ago but never recorded (now with new meaning) alongside songs written in the past two years, a few that materialized during the recording process and insisted on being included at the eleventh hour. I’m very proud of this record and so grateful to everyone who created it with me (see credits below).

A few extra special thank yous: to @cbierden for being the north star and inspiring me to start this album, and to @erocarl for bringing it home and offering endless patience along the way.

You know the drill — please consider streaming and purchasing Orchard via Bandcamp. Purchasing on Bandcamp has a meaningful impact on artists who invest in recording/releasing their music independently.

Can’t wait to celebrate tonight @turfclubmn with @shadycoveofficial & @mollydeanmusic! Music starts at 8 PM. 🎈

Sunflower 🌞 from our new album Orchard 🍎 with special guests @thecactusblossoms contributing back-up vocals

Under Violet writes lullaby love notes — this one is dedicated to @cbierden, along with the rest of this album. Chris is the first person who encouraged me to share my songs many moons ago and has been my # 1 musical partner for 16 years and counting.

Despite not being able to join us in the studio, Chris encouraged us to start this album and, over the past two years, helped produce/guide these songs. He continues to cheer us on, as he does for all his friends and collaborators, because that is just simply how he rolls. We love you, Chris, to the moon and back. 🌗
