Shoot 4 Shoez happened yesterday. Watching @sneakersuddsclt, @cbkresto, @thehezicoach and everyone involved put smiles on the kid’s faces as they went home with a pair of shoes was great. That’s the whole point, good people doing good work in this city. Glad I got to play a small part in it.

The shoes will be handed out on Saturday! But they need to be cleaned first, so still time to donate. Hit up @sneakersuddsclt to arrange a drop off if you have a pair to give.

New shoes and new skills. That’s the trade on July 18th.

Damien Howard, Quadarious Fewell, and Nate Frazier stopped by the studio to talk about the Sneaker 4 Shoez giveaway, getting kids fresh kicks for the school year and some real basketball tips to go with them. There will also be free haircuts and a couple of food trucks.

The event’s set, but the shoes aren’t free. Donations are what make it possible to reach as many kids as possible. Contact @sneakersuddsclt or @cbkresto to help out.
