Trying to capture a few moments of @chloe.atkinson_author the goddess of the grazing board 🧀 🍖 🫒 putting the finishing touches to her artwork when something extremely annoying wafts past @coleengreenwood_author 😂

FIVE DAYS TO GO!

What?
Under Neon Glare by @davehaywoodauthor

Where?
All over this planet, baby!

Why should I?
Because you love action, adventure, spaceships, mysterious magic powers and slightly unhinged medical robots named Bob.

My book besties, @krbooks13 and @cbrazierbooks have saved me from quitting more times than I can remember. They’ve both been with me since then beginning and I wouldn’t be here without them.

Authors - find your book family and grab hold. They are the gold dust sprinkles that will make you feel like a real author.

All the fucking stars, forever. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Never thought I’d get here! Been a hard slog!!

Sometimes I wonder that because I don’t do drama I don’t get shared. I bring love, support and care - in a community that can thrive on those three things. I guarantee that I will be there if I get a message asking for help.

Because you all have helped me SOOOOOOO MUCH!!! All the love, and here’s to the next 1000.

There are so many people on here I’m thankful for. They’ve kept me going and kept this little author from giving up so many times. But these two? From the beginning they’ve been fighting for me. They’re family now. Forever and always.

**I wasn’t going to post either. This was the better one.

A rough week last week, but I was told to show this to show that I’m not always a motivated little bunny.

It can be tough to handle, being a small, independent author. It’s lonely at times.

But there’s a wealth of people who support us and those that save us.

Thank you to @english_rose_reads for this tag. This might be one of my favourite book challenges...

ME in Titles:

• The Therapist - The job I want to do and do unqualified anyway 😅 I like being there for people and having people open up to me and half their burdens. I seem to attract strangers who like to vent too.

• The Burnout - I have a small problem with saying no and forgetting I literally cannot do everything. So I try and evidently end up burned out.

• All the Feels - I'm an emotional basket case. My moods change more than the Scottish weather. But like Mark Manson said (paraphrased) - only sociopaths don't have feelings!

• Bunny - bunny mummy and if I had all the time and money I'd run my own bunny rescue

• Peter Pan - even as a child I never wanted to grow up. As an adult I definitely don't!

• The Whole Truth - I'm a very honest person. Sometimes to a fault. Sometimes I don't know when to be quiet and I overshare a lot.

• The 3am Shattered Mum's Club - I'm constantly exhausted. Because of all of the above. Because my child's not slept for 6 years and parenting is exhausting.

• The Reader and Tucked Away - because there's nothing I like doing more than tucking away under the duvet with a book and a hot drink

Tagging a few people - play along!

Thank you all for the messages! Appreciate you so much. Was definitely wallowing in various different issues. Life has a way of building up to a crescendo of poop, and I was just hearing the ocean of crap.

Back now! Missed you all! I’m getting round to all your awesome messages today ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love ya.

Be good to each other and I’m gonna shout out some wonderful people right now because they are awesome.

🏷️ Comment an awesome person you want to show appreciation for!
