Beautiful food prepared four us by our friend @cbright67
The sauce on this #osobuco was divine…But the real star for me was the butter Moche. Lighter and airier than others I’ve tried. Sooooo good! #thankyou #specialtreat #pdxfoodie #eaterpdx #tasty #yumm #chefhazepdx #homecooked

Our friend made a super delish dinner…taste of Italy style! Broccolini, Burrata with cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, and this amazing crespelle alla fiorentina…which is crepes stuffed with spinach & ricotta, with a bechamel sauce. Perfecto!

We made it to #montereycarweek! We rolled out of the Mission de Oro and made the hour-long drive over to Salinas. We spent most of the drive wondering why there were an alarming number of skid marks everywhere.

At our hotel in Salinas, the innkeeper Perry was unbelievably helpful. We got primo parking and an early check-in.

The first order of business was parking the trailer. Slow and steady. We reversed in inches and we got a good system down and ended up nailing the landing. Teamwork!!

We made quick work of unloading and prepping the car. Then we rolled off to Monterey to connect with some folks. We quickly learned the Maser is pretty wounded. The engine is way down on power. We were aware of it, but not the extent. We can cruise around but very delicately and it leaves a delightful trail of smoke.

The rest of the day was filled with roaming around Monterey and getting together with friends. We had a fun experience when a couple of guys spotted our CPX shirts. They had been looking out for us as one of our sellers had spread the word about us. That’s a nice start!

Our Monterey 2021 adventure began yesterday. We picked up the Maser at @vintageundergroundrestorations in Eugene first thing and then pointed the rig down I-5 for the next dozen hours. It was a long-ass day with 100+ temps and smoke, but traffic was decent. Only had to back up the trailer once and took 3-4 attempts to reverse it 100 yards. Victory!

A spectacular day of driving at the #scm1000! My great friend Glen co-drove the Giulia Super 1.3. We rolled out to the Painted Hills and John Day Fossil Beds. Great roads to exercise our cars on.
