Concerts are my favorite events to go to, especially when I’m with my best friends. But this one never really started. From camping out for 10 hours (not even a fraction of how long most girls were there), to being ecstatic about getting second row, to getting lost on the flooded streets of Miami at 1 in the morning, we were left brokenhearted and never got to see our favorite artist.⁣ ⁣ I wrote an article about the entirety of my experience, as well as the experience of other girls who attended this disaster, in hopes of giving everyone a voice that we didn’t receive. I barely saw news coverage of what we went through, and it angered me that Pepsi was able to cover up everything that happened to us. ⁣ ⁣ We were put in a building that was about to collapse on us because of the high winds and heavy rain, and were supposed to be evacuated hours before they decided to do so. Girls were harassed, pushed out by force into a lightning storm, photographed and exploited sobbing on the ground, ridiculed by security, deprived of basic health assistance, and forced to pay hundred of dollars for rides to simply get away from the venue’s area. It’s so much more serious than anyone has made it out to be, so this is my attempt to bring awareness to the situation.⁣ ⁣ If you guys could please click the link in my bio, read my article, and try to empathize with everything we underwent, it would mean the world to me. Thank you to everyone who offered to help financially that night, and for all the sweet words I have received since.

Somehow the mastery of @instagram escapes my brain. Verified in all social media platforms but this one, I have been rejected for verification 3 months in a row now lol. Especially after numerous fake profiles of me keep appearing. Notified by friends on here of requests for donations, I notified #instagram to let them know... Anyway, lol, My stack of rejection letters in life never stops me. And @bymorganbattista I loved our conversation today!! Thank you for the laughter and success chat. Here on @instagram I see a lot of paid fake followers, far too many naked butts and paid ads for me at moments. The mom and near 50 year old me, wishes I could teach peeps that these photos will linger.... As for me, Sometimes I scratch my head and wonder - do I need this many pictures of my self? 🤣 and as the wrinkles add on, that answer might be NO! 🤣❤️ However, I like to chug along, keep it real, find my peeps and just be me. Teaching kids about science is my goal in life. Spent the day bringing it all full circle with @spannwx ... I wanted to be Helen Hunt’s character in Twister until I met @spannwx and he took me to a school to talk to kids about weather. Then I wanted to be him.
