Wednesday will mark the one-year anniversary of the tragic passing of former Coastal Georgia softball player Kennedy Waymer to cancer. An incredible person, she made a positive and lasting impact on everybody she met. #KennedyStrong “It’s just the kind of person she was. Friendly to everybody, would help anybody, just an excellent student. A perfect role model.” — CCGA head softball coach Mike Minick

I’m beyond blessed and excited to announce that I have officially committed to continue my academic and softball career at the College of Coastal Georgia! 💙
I can’t thank my family, coaches, teammates, friends, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey enough. Every sacrifice, early morning, long practice, and moment of doubt has led me to this moment, and I’m so thankful for all of it.
Thank you, Coastal, for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to continue doing what I love at the next level. I’m so ready for this next chapter! 💙
Go Mariners! 🌊🥎
