The SRM pit is always special because we get to feel a new control over the music; this year was no different. After many late night and grueling rehearsals, Legally Blonde is over. Everyone on this team worked so hard but we owe a special thanks to Ally and Shrey for conducting. Have a great end of the school year, all you pit fans!

OMIGOD YOU GUYS, time for meet the pit. Once again the pit is getting Whipped into Shape and keeping it (semi-) Serious for Legally Blonde so we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight all of the people who provide the music from their ledge.

although dyslexia is still diagnosed, places with phonetic languages like italy (where words are almost always spelt how they’re said) tend to have significantly lower rates of diagnosis (3.5% compared to the american 5-15%) because the phonetic nature of the language. often times people will notice they’re dyslexic while learning a language like english or german (where more often words aren’t spelt how they sound) this is also one of the reasons why italy doesn’t have spelling bees—there are no hidden constatants or vowels in italian like in english (which is the language spelling bees were made for in 1925)
