Today I was at @pontogeek27 .
I had the pleasure of catching up with @starwars.normandy and @forceimperiale27
It was also a joy to see my favorite Wookiee couple, @veroniquebiette and @josseerwan1970 as well as @pirik.vrenar (Mandalorian) and @auralyn.chant.cosplay (The Armorer).
After a very, very long wait, I met @fredericsouterelle —the French voice of Wrecker in *The Bad Batch*.
And to wrap up the day @zedlerouge created a fantastic atmosphere—as always—by singing the theme songs from the cartoons of my childhood.

Had a fantastic day at Disneyland Paris ! The must-do Star Tours ride still brings me just as much joy as ever, though unfortunately, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain is *Star Wars* in name only.
A quick Grogu burger to fuel up before hitting the other attractions: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, It's a Small World, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, an incredible *Lion King* show, and so much more... A wonderful, magical day away from everyday worries ! 🔥

In 1984, the *Star Wars* universe made its mark on the French music scene when George Lucas enlisted Dorothée to perform a song inspired by his TV movie *Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure* (known in France as *L’Aventure des Ewoks*). Titled "Les Petits Ewoks," the single—released in December 1984—went on to become one of the singer's most iconic tracks.

When George Lucas conceived *Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure*—a spin-off from *Return of the Jedi*—he wanted to support its release with a French version featuring a voice familiar to young audiences. He chose Dorothée, who was then a major star of children's television in France. She not only provided the voiceover for the film's original French version but also recorded a song dedicated to the story.
The song came into existence at the express request of George Lucas 🔥

I was surprised to receive a package from Germany. It was sent by a loyal follower who has been with me since 2019 and has become a friend. With @hunters_daughter we have long shared a passion for Star Wars, and she introduced me to "The Bad Batch", a show she is a huge fan of ! The years have flown by, bringing both ups and downs, yet we’ve maintained regular contact and a meaningful bond—the kind that makes social media truly wonderful. Thank you, Susanne, for this beautiful T-shirt, the bracelet, and the cards. Thank you for the kind words you wrote in French; they really touched my heart. Thank you, my Omega 💙

I had a wonderful evening with Laëtitia, Gwenaël, and Gabriel. I was so happy to show them around my city. Throughout the evening, Raphaël—their little star—was present in our hearts.

Raphaël was a little boy who loved Star Wars. He suffered from infantile spinal muscular atrophy (type 1) and passed away at the age of five. Driven by love for their son, Laëtitia and Gwenaël continue the fight to raise awareness about this disease and keep Raphaël’s memory alive. I have immense respect for them.

Thank you for the evening and the meal 💙

In France, July 14th is Bastille Day 🎆🇨🇵

Due to the heatwave and the risk of wildfires, many festivities and fireworks displays were cancelled, but I still managed to see one yesterday in the town of Domfront. I love fireworks; they bring a sparkle to the eyes of young and old alike.

Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, and May the Force always be with you ! 💙

(Thanks to @letsgo_splay for giving me this magnificent cardboard R2)
