We made a street mural at People's Food Co-op! With support from the 2024 Village Building Convergence and feedback from the People's Farmers' Market community, we painted the streets with flora & fauna of market! Here's the street after it was primed, but before it was painted. Beautiful design, @gabsgotguns and @cclement_design.

Our 2-day mural painting party is THIS WEEKEND! 🖌️🖌️🖌️ Our mural kickoff party is on Friday, 6/14 from 6-8pm. Join us for an evening of pizza from @scottiespizzaparlor and @rudyspizzapdx , popsicles, and priming!

On Saturday, join us at 9am for courtyard yoga (weather permitting!), and then start painting with us at 10! We'll have coffee donated by @equalexchangewest and pastries from @glutenfreegem and @shooflyveganbakery to start, followed by lunch from @hodaspdx , and popsicles from @icequeenpdx later in the day. We'll also have a birthday toast for the Farmers' Market, because 6/15 also happens to be @peoplesfarmers 30th BIRTHDAY!

RSVP at the link in our bio so we know you'll be there! We're so excited to make this mural with you all.

🥚We love carton art!🥚We encourage customers to reuse their egg cartons when buying our bulk eggs. Many customers bring old cartons that have tons of fun notes/doodles on them. If you like to draw on your egg carton - share your art with us! Bring it into the co-op or tag us on Instagram. Shout out to our egg farms @deckfamilyfarm, @country.egg, Wag, and Steibrs.
