A few months ago, The Hollywood Reporter informally surveyed agents, managers and producers about who could be the next Curry Barker (Obsession) or Kane Parsons (Backrooms). CCM alumnus Spencer Lackey (BFA Acting, '17) was one of the names that kept coming up as a potential "next big thing in the horror space."

They were right.

Lackey is taking his scary stories from social media to feature films with "Lust," a movie he wrote and will direct.

Neon, Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Spooky Pictures are teaming up on "Lust" with Lackey. "Paranormal Activity" veteran Steven Schneider is producing for Spooky Pictures, and Jason Blum and James Wan are producing for Blumhouse Atomic Monster. The plot is being kept secret, with Neon and Blumhouse Atomic Monster co-financing the project.
