For the second time in school history, Calumet College of St. Joseph was named a Champions of Character Five-Star Gold Level Institution by the NAIA! ⭐️

“It’s exciting news to be named an NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Gold award winner for a second year in a row,” CCSJ Athletic Director David Lopez said. “Last year we made history being named a gold award winning school for the first time and now accomplishing this for the second year in a row means that we have set a new standard of excellence for our athletic department. I’m extremely proud of all our coaches and student-athletes who made the commitment in the classroom, the community and within their particular sport.”

Three Pike Boys Volleyball alumni are taking their talents to the next level!

Firroune Ouangueye | Outside Hitter / Libero | Calumet College of St. Joseph

Dajuan Holliday | Outside Hitter | Calumet College of St. Joseph

Onike Belajda | Middle Blocker | The University of Olivet

Ronni has been our engine, flair and all-around go-to player. Cinco has been our cool, calm and collected closer. Oni was a founding member and monster at the net before becoming an invaluable assistant coach. All-MIC selections, captains and foundational members of Pike Boys Volleyball, each helped build this program in his own irreplaceable way. We couldn’t be more proud of you, brothers!

Congratulations, @firrrouneo_ , @dajuanholliday and @the_art_of_0ni !

Come celebrate them at Signing Day before Alumni Night tonight, July 28, at 6:00 PM in the North Gym at Pike High School!

Yesterday both CCSJ volleyball programs hosted their end of the year banquet, giving out multiple awards to deserving student-athletes.

Reshawn Allen had the most notable honor, as an award was officially named after him. The R. Allen award recognizes a senior that’s had a lasting impression on the program.

Congratulations to all the Crimson Wave athletes that received honors.

Congrats to our lone senior Reshawn Allen as he was honored today prior to the match. 🏐
Reshawn has been a wonderful addition to the program since he became a part of the Crimson Wave family his junior year. His consistency has been the backbone of the men’s volleyball team these past two years, and that will never be forgotten.
