Against all odds, I did it.🎓

My journey wasn’t perfect, and it definitely wasn’t easy. There were moments when I questioned myself, moments when life tested me, and moments when giving up seemed like the easier option. During COVID-19, I stepped away from school. Many people would’ve counted me out. Statistics would’ve counted me out. But God had a different plan for my life.🙏🏾

I doubled back.

This degree represents more than late nights, exams, and assignments. It represents every sacrifice, every prayer, every tear, every lesson, and every time I chose not to quit. It represents changing the narrative, breaking generational barriers, and creating a better life for myself and the generations that come after me.

If you would’ve told me years ago that this would be my story, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But here I am.

A first-generation college graduate.

Proof that setbacks are not the end of your story.

Proof that God’s timing is always greater than our own.

To everyone who supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, and never stopped believing in me—thank you.

And to God, thank You for carrying me when I didn’t have the strength to carry myself.

The journey wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.

Bachelor’s Degree: Earned.
The odds: Beaten.
The narrative: Changed.
The mission: Accomplished.

And this is only the beginning.💯
