Turns out the lengths we’ll go to get young people engaged in politics include hiring five comedians. And we’d do it again. 😂

One more round of applause for the absolute legends who brought the laughs to Stand Up (and Vote!)! 👏❤️

A HUGE thank you to Rhys Mathewson @rhysmathewson Hoani Hotene @hoanihotene Courtney Dawson @cdawsoxx James Mustapic @jamesmustapic and James Nokise @jamesnokise for helping make the night such a success. We love y’all!

We loved seeing a room full of young people laughing, connecting and getting enrolled. Turns out politics doesn’t always have to be so serious!

But you know what IS serious? You still one very important bit of life admin to sort out.

⏰ Just 9 DAYS left to enrol or update your details before 25 October!

Don’t make us organise another entire comedy show just to remind you. Pls 😭

AROHA-HA was an absolute hoot! 🤣

Selling out our first-ever comedy show at Kōanga Festival was pretty epic. Dame Jthan kicked off the evening with a bang 💥 and stayed serving laughs all night long, while the star-studded line-up curated by Janaye Henry had the crowd in stitches from start to finish! 👏🏽

We hope we did you proud with this one, our mate Aroha Awarau 💛

Whatta you think e te whānau?! Should we convince our Festival Director to bring AROHA-HA back for 2027? 👀🤩🙂‍↕️
