📖 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 | 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆!! 💿

✒️ Li Yu e Kang Kuaikuai sono due amici completamente agli antipodi: il primo è maldestro e in piena crisi ormonale, mentre il secondo è diligente ed ama studiare. I due, insieme al resto della loro classe, sono in partenza per l’isola di Dunshan – nota per essere infestata dai fantasmi – per una sorta di vacanza-lavoro.

📈 Li Yu è innamorato di Shi Chengshi e, proprio in occasione della loro permanenza, si avvicineranno. Tuttavia, un uomo misterioso si aggira per la cittadina di mare e questo indurrà la coppia (e anche Kang Kuaikuai) a rimanere oltre più del dovuto per scoprire la verità.

✏️ Yi Yang propone una storia definibile “thriller” a cui si mescolano elementi adolescenziali. Il disegno ha un tratto sempre dinamico e spigoloso, capace di dare maggior carattere alle pagine durante la nostra lettura e mescolandosi con palette di colore rosso (per il giorno) e blu (per la notte).

💽 Nel pieno dell’era della city pop esce “Timely!!”, uno degli album di maggior successo di Anri. Un disco piacevole, leggero e, soprattutto estivo, tipico di quel periodo, dove la cantante giapponese riesce ad esprimere tutta la propria classe e genuinità.

🔗 Nonostante siano due opere completamente differenti, “Deep Vacation” e “Timely!!” condividono le calde atmosfere estive, fatte di cambiamenti, passione e – perché no? – mistero. Due lavori orientali che, a loro modo, hanno conquistato il cuore degli occidentali.

I picked up a number of brushes from CDJapan as well, but my favorite has to be this Chikuhodo G-9 powder brush. Large and round powder brushes have always been my weakness.

Enjoying this brush & eyeshadow combo for an easy everyday eye look. Lately simple eye looks are all I want to do

1. Takeda Sable Brush + Rose Venus
This very high quality sable brush picks up PMG metallic shades with ease. I have been applying it all over the lid or the inner 2/3rd

2. Chikuhodo Z-11 + Statuesque
The Z-11 is a fluffy squirrel brush that I use to quickly blend transitions shades. I have been using it to diffuse a transition matte in the crease and outer 1/3 of the lid

3. Koyudo x CDJapan + Burnished Honey
I can then add a darker color around the outer 1/3 of the lashline, outer V, and lower lashline with this saikoho pencil brush by CDJ x Koyudo (discontinued). It is not precise but lately that has been my preference too, just a smudge of definition
