So grateful and 🌈PROUD🌈 to have opened my first featured exhibit with @waygayphilly
This Is (Not) A Celebration is a gorgeous show meticulously curated and expertly presented by @jakefosterart and it is so meaningful and moving to be in a show that honors our LGBTQ Philly ancestors from 1976, as a response to America 250. The archival material, historical images, and moving artworks displayed really situate my work in a larger dialogue with my identity as a queer child of immigrants with a fierce dedication to Philadelphia.

Want to thank all the beautiful souls who’ve supported me in this yearlong project, the friends who came out to Opening, the words of support, artistic mentors, the LGBTQ fore parents who fought for me in 1976, and most importantly @adamewoods and @pauljmcelwee who were the true engines in helping an artist like me thrive and continue to evolve.
