RIP F45 LES 💔

This studio truly has provided so many amazing memories and friendships! While the studio doors may be closed, I’m happy knowing I met incredible people that made the last 2.5 years above and beyond. Team training, life changing!

There’s no easy way to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much. ❤️

F45 Lower East Side, it’s been an amazing run. From the first class to the last, this community has been filled with so much energy, laughter, sweat, and memories that we’ll carry with us long after these doors close.

To every member who showed up, pushed through, cheered someone on, and made this studio feel like home: thank you. And to our incredible staff who poured their energy and heart into this community every single day: thank you. You are what made F45 LES so special.

While this chapter is coming to a close, our F45 family isn’t going anywhere. ❤️ Come keep sweating with us at Flatiron, Williamsburg, DUMBO, or Midtown East, we would love to see you there.

Six Months Post-Op ✨

Once I was cleared to start walking again, my goal became to see my friends more, say yes to everyday things, and to enjoy the outdoors, and I think I’ve done pretty well at that! From celebrating friends’ birthdays and other achievements, Knicks in Five, and multiple beach days, to concerts and shows, new hair, hiking two miles with relative ease, and lots in between, this Spring and start to Summer has been the breath of fresh air I needed.

With all that though, recovery hasn’t suddenly become easy. The past few days/weeks have been stagnate and frustrating (for weeks now, I’ve been 2-0.5 inches away from getting my butt to my heels ughhh), and that mindset has pulled me down sometimes. But I know progress isn’t linear, so on the hard days I just need to remember to breathe, rely on loved ones, and take it day by day.

So here’s to celebrating the day to day, starting dance PT soon (fingers crossed) and to getting back to a full color, full out life again! 🌈

3 Months (& Change) Post-Op Dump!

I had a big, long post written about what the past 3 months have been like, but honestly, Spring has sprung, I’m 1/3 of the way into recovery, finally walking normally and back to babysitting again, so trying to lighten my emotional load as well. Things have been hard, but I’m trying to just focus on the act of Showing Up. Not perfectly, just taking it day by day, and knowing that giving up isn’t an option, so even if it’s a day of me operating at 10%, it’s better than nothing. And a big thanks for the people and communities who have, and continue to, show up for me. I am undeserving of the kindness and support, but I hope to repay it little by little to everyone who has reached out and offered kind words and support. ❤️‍🔥
