A year ago I stepped onto a campus 2,000 miles from home surrounded by people I didn’t know and with no idea what to expect. Somehow through the people God put in my life, a place that once felt completely foreign, felt like home.

Somewhere along the way, GCU gave me some of my best friends, memories I’ll never forget, but ultimately a year I’ll never forget.

I didn’t expect this chapter to close so soon, but I’m incredibly excited for where God is leading me next, serving students at Grace and stepping into a new season of ministry

God is doing somethin…🤍

A few weeks ago, we went to the doctor and received the devastating news that Ian has a large mass around his lung.

A local hospital in Michigan was unable to move forward with further evaluation, so Ian was flown back to the Mayo Clinic where he originally received treatment. His care team at Mayo was ON IT as soon as we arrived. Within less than 24 hours, Ian began an intense 5-day chemotherapy treatment.

We are overjoyed to share that after only 5 DAYS, the mass has already started to shrink. Something even his doctors were in awe of!

To everyone who has reached out, every “coffee on us”, every ounce of love we have received, and every prayer from afar, we are beyond thankful! We haven’t been able respond as much as we’d like, but the one thing we have been loving the most are the prayers we’ve received via text. We will often read those in the middle of the night or for a mid-day boost.

We are so thankful for Ian’s body and the Holy Spirit at work! We spent far too many sleepless nights without answers, and while we still don’t have all of them, we ask that you all would pray BOLDLY with us for complete healing over Ian.

As we navigate the road ahead, we truly believe the Lord has placed Ian in great hands. 🤍

Love you all.
ONE DAY AT A TIME.
