SURVIVOR SDSU SEASON 2 - good lord, this one is probably going to be a long one. to the players, production, and supporters who have helped make this season possible, thank you. never in my wildest dreams would i have imagined that in the middle of january, i would be asked to take on the mantle of hosting survivor sdsu, and would go on to spend the next month advertising, casting players, and putting together and designing a fully filmed and edited semester-long college survivor org, let alone the same one i played and infamously got second-to-last place in.

first off, i want to thank @devie_wevie for trusting me with your show. i know it must not have been an easy decision to pass down the torch to me as host, but i am so incredibly thankful for how much this opportunity has helped me grow and heal from some of the rougher patches of life i’ve been through during my time in college. i’ve gotten to meet and become close with so many amazing people because of this show, and i’m so glad i get to be such an important part of it now. i’ll try to continue improving the show for as long as i can until i graduate. this show has truly changed my life.

and ofc not just to dev, but also to the other members of production like @amacalica @em0skittles @adreoplane @grace_goose3255 @calvinkim12 and many others who took time out of their own schedules to come to filming, help us with cameras, challenge setup, directing the players, and overall being a fundamental part of this season. we could not have done it without you.

and last but not least, to my players. thank you. i knew right from the start you guys would show us why your casting was a good decision. you all delivered such a spectacular season filled with so much drama, blindsides, humor, strategy, and personality. i could come up with a whole paragraph for all 18 of you individually but that would take up too much space. i’m so glad i got to meet and become friends with you all. the memes, inside jokes, bloopers, and even the stressful parts are all what made this season so great.

anyways, that’s a wrap! 😉
i’ll see you guys next time.

- your host, richie
