POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s getting reall cosy in the sexiest place on earth, this autumn, here are four 4 things you need to put on your radar in Barking and Dags 😮‍💨

1. The Intimate RNB lounge tiny desk type experience returns on the 7th November with some amazing artist including @lolamoxom & @young_athena with some more surprises loading. They’re on their final release tickets, once they’re gone they’re gone🫡

2. One room talks includes a bafta winner and most recently author @markonetv and special conversation with designer @jeffreymanful whose worked on the digital architecture for the likes of @colorsxstudios Both will give incredible insights into their journeys and lessons to take forward and what they see coming next

3. Every Tuesday the chess club takes over @oneroomlive creative living room riverside , a chill space to connect and meet others on a Tuesday, it’s starts with chess but the conversations go deep 🙏🏾

3. November we’re getting real artsy with a debut art jam with @_smith_bradley on November 26th and November 14 @shrriiiii is back for her round 2 of her paint and sip

4. 144 film club returns to the creative living room where we not only watch but also have a conversation about what was on screen. Next up on the 21st November is Hyenas by Dribril Diop Mambety

Bonus there is on open mic with @oneroomlive on the 5th of November . Great place to test hear new music and chill in a creative setting

November 28 is quarterly film industry link ups let’s watch talk and reimagine film. Too many creatives that work in the industry but never get to collab here in east . We’re looking for peeps that have work to screen or have been part of projects that are open to showing on the big screen. Shout us 🫶🏾

4 weeks. Our first live show. Our first international residency. The beginning of a growing chess club. And getting to meet so many amazing locals.
And we’re just getting started…

Over the last month, we’ve been activating the Visitor Centre @barking_riverside, bringing artists, ideas, music and conversations from London and beyond into the space.

Thank you everyone that has contributed so far 🫶🏾🔊
The September schedule is looking lovely. All tickets in our bio:

5th September — Live from 144
12th September — The biggest Emerge East yet
19th September — Ilumo Puzzle Off
Come down, get involved, play some chess, meet some people and see what we’re building at Riverside and beyond
