A beautiful reminder that true grace walks on four paws and wears a coat of gold. Capturing a quiet moment of absolute serenity in a chaotic world.

There was a time when love for a dog lived only in my imagination.

A little girl in a government colony, watching winters arrive not as a season of cold, but as a season of hope. I did not know the science of it, I only knew that winters meant puppies. Tiny, warm, breathing bundles of joy scattered across corners of the colony like little miracles.

I would run to them without thinking twice. No fear, no hesitation, no thought of dirt or mess. Just pure excitement. Sometimes on foot, sometimes on my cycle, later on my scooty, chasing those small lives as if they were pieces of my own heart scattered around the streets.

There were reasons I was never allowed to have one of my own. I was too young, they said. Too small to take care of another life. There were already responsibilities, already enough to handle. And I understood. I really did. But understanding does not quiet a longing like that.

So I kept loving from a distance.
I kept waiting every winter.
I kept hoping without knowing I was hoping.

And maybe somewhere, quietly, I was manifesting.

Because today, I don’t have to chase that feeling anymore.

Today, I have him.

Ceaser ❤︎

The one who sits beside me under a sunlit sky, looking into the same frame as me, as if he always belonged there. The one whose eyes hold a kind of peace I cannot explain. The one who, without saying a word, makes everything feel okay.

No matter how heavy the day has been. No matter how tangled the work, how exhausting the thoughts, how loud the world feels. One look at him, and something inside me softens. A smile finds its way back. A quiet kind of happiness settles in.

It feels like something I waited for without knowing the wait had a name.

It feels like I found home.

And maybe that is what this is.

Not just a dog.
Not just a moment.

A childhood wish that stayed, that grew, that found me back in the most beautiful way.

Mujhe apna ghar mil jata hai tujhmein, aise…and for me, that feeling lives in him.

The last slide is the closest to my heart 🫶🏻🧿

The last twenty five days felt like life unfolding in its most honest and unfiltered form, where every moment carried a softness of being truly alive. There were days filled with laughter that echoed through late night drives and quiet sunsets that spoke more than words ever could. There were cups of chai that came one after another like a ritual of comfort, and days when time slipped away without it, yet still felt complete. I lived through messy hair, tired eyes, unexpected breakouts, and unplanned sleep cycles, yet never felt more at home within myself. I found beauty in shared meals across the city, in food made with my own hands, in conversations with strangers who became stories, and in the warmth of people who have always been my safe place. There were highs that made my heart feel full and lows that reminded me of my strength, but through it all I kept choosing joy, choosing presence, choosing to feel deeply. These days were not perfect, but they were real, vibrant, and mine, and if this is what living feels like, then this is exactly how I want to continue, with an open heart, a curious soul, and a life wrapped in love, chaos, and quiet happiness.

Call me an old soul, but I find peace in nature, nights, moon, sunsets, breezes, books, poetry, flowers, the smell of rain, and the people who feel like hug.
