Ok, real talk. Heart of my sleeve kinda thing

Since I still strive to create content that’s enticing, and enjoyable both for me and the subjects (in this case @hotlaundryband)

My gear is not optimal for low light photography, im trying to learn about angles, and compromising light for sharpness or vice versa.

So what pointers do you have? Which one is a wasted shot? What’s to much editing? Shall I pause until I could get new gear?

I feel like I seldom get the shot I wanted to take, even at a more low key event and not a big festival stage with great lights and f.e. @cecbos running around an giving 200%

For inspiration @photoson80_concerts @andravyer what masking do you do, if any? What’s a quick good edit move that you do that do? yay or nay on using a 24-70 with IS or should I just use the nifty fifty? Tulips or not?

Here’s @gradyrocknroll of hot laundry, the photo itself is really nothing to write home about, not the subject, he rips! But it’s a classic quick snap that might be classified as a wasted frame.

Ruhrpott Rodeo
The Baboon Show
Saturday, July 25 · 17:20 · Ruhrpott Stage

Wow, finally The Baboon Show again. For me, the best international band with a frontwoman like Cecilia that I’ve gotten to celebrate live these past years. And honestly, I don’t know any band that comes close to The Baboon Show in this form. An absolute explosion of power from the first note to the last.
