POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We were given the assignment to find the most interesting at St. Paul’s Farmers Market (@stpaulfarmersmarket) and tell their story. For us, of course that was the cello player.

Meet Dante Carlson (dantecarlsoncello) who’s been playing here every weekend for four summers, to save up enough for a car and move out. Playing the cello at the farmers market has also led him to playing at weddings of unsuspecting and curious market goers.

In other news: yes, the St Paul’s farmers market is really every weekend! Did we mention that in addition to fruits and veggies, there are food vendors? Bagels, tacos, pastries and other options. Oh, I’d definitely come back. Updated hours listed in their bio.

What is the first item you would look for in a farmers market?

from full room to empty room. nobody warns you that the last time you leave a dorm feels different than every other time you leave it. if you've moved out of one, you know. if you're moving into one, be prepared.

send to ur friend with a campus job and let them know you appreciate them

as we’re getting ready for back to school, i was curious to know what a day in the life of another student looked like during summer, so i asked student manager of the UMN bookstore @vee.wing; turns out whether you’re studying in Minnesota or Chicago or anywhere else, back to school season is the busiest.
