❄️💙LOVE WILL THAW💙❄️ #frozenmusical

‘Gratitude’ is a funny word- and yet, as someone who knows what it took to get here, performing in the Ensemble for Frozen with Encore has genuinely been one of the most gratifying (and transformative) experiences in a while. The journey to making it here was far from easy, but all worth it.

After moving to Orlando in 2023 for Universal Entertainment, I used to go to the Dr Phillips Center many nights alone, standing under the front awning, wishing for just one thing: “to perform on all three stages @drphillipsctr.” And now, after 3 years of hard work, I can finally say I have made that dream came true🌠 So heck yeah— the gratitude (and sense of hope) I’m feeling is very real.

Now, at the beginning of rehearsal, our director Nick asked us to think about a question: “why?”— why are we doing this production, what are we letting go of? In truth: my ‘why’ is to believe in myself again; in my abilities.

For many years I have always been hard on myself, and when you’re constantly surrounded by immense talent, it’s easy to second-guess oneself. But, I think of my family & friends who’ve stuck around & believed in me all these years. Because of them, I have learned to ‘let go’ of past versions of myself that do not serve the present version of who I am. Learned to allow myself to trust in my gifts, in the many hours of work I dedicate to my craft, and believe it would pay off. And now that I’m here, I can say it did.❤️‍🩹

To our principals + littles— you confidently led this story with a pure message and an open heart, both on & off-stage; you were perfectly cast. 🩵

To my Ensemble/Magic Maker peeps: so talented, each and every one of you; it’s absolutely INSANE. Please never stop performing or I WILL riot.

Finally, to Clay & @cliffpricedesign - my gosh. You are the greatest duo, thank you for the community you have created. Choir, orchestra, and beyond. For everything.🫂

I can’t believe it’s been *15 years* with @encorecentral. I’m so glad I got to spend this year with these individuals. Very happy to reunite with old friends, and introduce new ones to this organization I love so dearly.

Wow. Wow. Wow. My heart is so full. These last few weeks have just been incredible. I will forever be grateful to @encorecentral for giving me a place to sing and love and be loved. Doing Frozen in the Walt Disney theater was a DREAM. I still have not fully comprehended what we did, and that I was chosen for this. I still don’t have the words, but I am forever thankful and forever in love with these people. Let the sunshine on! ❄️🩵
