Some days stay with you forever.

We had the privilege of partnering with Miracles for Kids to welcome terminally-ill children from CHOC and their families for a day of surfing.

For a little while, it wasn’t about hospitals, treatments, or what these families are carrying. It was about waves, laughter, courage, family, and the feeling of being carried by the ocean.

Watching these kids surf, and watching their parents and siblings experience it alongside them, was something we’ll never forget.

We came into the day hoping to give something back, but we left feeling like we were the ones who had been given something.

The ocean has a beautiful way of bringing people into the present. Of creating joy. Of reminding us how powerful it can be to simply share what we have with someone else.

We’re so grateful for @miraclesforkids , to these incredible families, and to every person who helped make this day possible.

We can’t wait to do it again. 🤍🌊
