Field trip yesterday for the cast of Hamlet to LMU’s Hannon Library. The Library hosts one of the original 235 copies of William Shakespeare’s First Folios. First Folios are the very first complete works of William Shakespeare printed seven years after his death. An incredible experience to turn these venerable pages and recite lines from the original Hamlet text. Make sure you catch Hamlet with Shakespeare on the Bluff from July 9th to 11th at 8:00PM on The Drollinger Family Stage. Thank you to LMU Library and Special Collections Librarian, Cynthia Becht.

A mother sings… the song of purple summer… through the heart of everything.

So lucky to have done one of my dream shows for my last musical at LMU. To the production team, thank you for trusting me to bring each of these characters to life, and to my cast, thank you for your love, support, the laughs, and of course, the junk. I’m so grateful to have been a part of this incredible production, and I’m excited for whatever comes next.

Unchangingly and most fondly yours,
Fanny Gabor, Frau Bergman, Fraulen Kuppeldick, Fraulen Grossenbustenhalter, and Frau Bressel❤️

Being President of this club has by far been one of my biggest accomplishments at LMU. Thank you to my Opportunes for being the best group of talented, dedicated, and amazing singers and friends. My heart really is so full! See you next fall!🤍

While our Opportunes are on spring break, we still got another member to spotlight this #TheOpportunesThursday! This week we have Cecilia Del Valle, a freshman English major from the fall semester!

What brought you to The Opportunes?
I love singing, especially with my friends! The group is so kind and welcoming and I love our collaborations!

Give us a fun fact about you!
I drink coffee pretty much every day🫡

We love you Ceci!🩷
