I sometimes find it easy to get caught up in all the things I haven’t done or accomplished yet, but Thanksgiving is a nice reminder to slow down and appreciate all the wonderful things I have. ❤️ Feeling especially grateful for my beautiful family and friends, for the opportunity to do what I love - to dance, choreograph, act, create, and collaborate with incredible people. For the adventures, the opportunities, the lessons, and even the unexpected twists and turns that keep life interesting. So much to be thankful for, and so much to look forward to. How I love les poissons 🫧 I'm going to hold this show deeply in my heart for as long as I breathe. This show taught me so much as an actor but also a person. Working and befriending the people in this production has made me feel safe and like I mattered; I am forever grateful. This entire team worked so hard to make things go smoothly for everyone involved and it was clear that everyone had each other's backs. BTS of @thedressingroom.show Season 2 now playing on @outtv 8 years ago, @paulalmeida22 and @makaylajeanmoore asked me if I’d like to volunteer at Malkin Bowl for a little project they wanted to shoot about a touring theatre show. I said yes. When I got there, they told me I could be in a couple of scenes if I wanted to. They needed someone to play Sophie the ASM for some scenes, and for folks to help out with the lighting etc. I recall mostly holding up a literal Ikea lamp to help light the scenes throughout the day, and honestly I was just so happy to be there. I cannot believe where that little yes took me. I am so proud and happy to be in this show. I love every single person who helped bring The Dressing Room Seasons 1 and 2 to life, and I’m still so so grateful to be here. Say yes people, because you never know where it’s going to take you ❤️🥹
