It's been a thick and amazing year. Taking my baby steps as ushered by God's Mercy.

Dear Renarsites @renarsa_ui, John C. Maxwell once said "Leadership is not the manipulation of people to achieve your selfish goals but their willful submission to your convictions to achieve a common goal"

I sincerely appreciate your unwavering support and the privilege to serve as your President.

I firmly believe that the initial success we have achieved is but the first step on a long and transformative journey. Sustaining this success requires a deliberate and collective effort from every member of RENARSA @renarsa_ui , as we strive towards a shared objective.

By uniting our strengths and working together harmoniously, we have the power to effect positive change within our Faculty. I eagerly anticipate the forthcoming moments of collaboration and the remarkable impact we will create together.

I wholeheartedly appreciate my Parents, Mentors, Pastor, Friends, and all that supported and encouraged me. It's a Big win for us. Congratulations to us.

Wow, it's over a year now since I emerged as the Vice President of my department. I had wanted to write this for a long while but it isn't too late I guess.😊

A few days after the election, I was walking down the hill & I heard an inward voice saying 'What if you didn't win?' I was silent for minutes then the question came again. Neither did I know that this was going to be defining moment for me in my view of life, my processes, and the future.🙌

I honestly replied 'Thank God I won ooo but I would have truly felt so sad and quite several other cogent things in my life could have been so affected in that season. Wow, I'm shocked (at myself 😅) but that was truly the sincere answer at that point.

The truth is that until we get someone to ask us some questions, it doesn't dawn on us how ill-Prepared we are for the future we are envisioning.

Most of the pioneers we admire and celebrate now had some setbacks & failures they had to manage which eventually built their capacity to manage certain responsibilities that made them worthy of Global Honour & Recognition.🔥

Does that mean it is easy to embrace the journey or Am I saying failure is good? Oh no! But it's all part of the process. The true test of your strength can only be during days of adversity. The truth is that no star emerges without a scar or some intense sacrifice of commitment in time, energy, etc which often doesn't produce its result immediately.

I don't know how your 2022 went. It could have been filled with some ups and downs or maybe too challenging but the good news is that God has made you come this far because he has something great in store for you. You are an eagle made to fly, those unfriendly experiences were just to shed your primary wings so that the new secondary effective wings can come forth to soar higher. Don't give up! I'm rooting greatly for you.❣️

I Want to say a very big Thank you to my amiable Predecessor (slide 3)for his encouragement all through the campaign till date. I didn't emerge alone, I appreciate my dear colleagues, opponent, executives, & the entire @wess_ui for this great privilege to serve & collaborate with great minds like yours. Cheers🥂💟
