Had a lovely little overnight stay at @lodgeatstedward last week! Had some quiet reading time, quarterly dinner with @alicia_hastings_ at @cedarandelmseattle, caught up with @lukekolpin and he gifted us each ‘Seattle Eats + Drinks’ cookbook that he’s featured in. Ended the night introducing Alicia to Twilight for the first time 💫 📸 First pic taken by @alicia_hastings_

A bittersweet evening at Cedar + Elm. 🥂

With The Lodge at St. Edward Park preparing for an exciting new chapter and Cedar + Elm taking a pause during the upcoming renovations, I can’t help but think about all the wonderful evenings we’ve spent here.

Over the years, we’ve enjoyed so many incredible meals, but what has always stood out is the hospitality. Chef @lukekolpin and his team have consistently gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and our latest visit was no exception.

From Luke personally welcoming and seating us, to a beautiful bottle of bubbles, an extraordinarily generous dinner, and a signed cookbook to take home — we were absolutely spoiled!

And a special thank you to Parker, who has made so many of our visits feel less like dining out and more like catching up with a friend. It’s people like you who make hospitality so special.

Change is always a little bittersweet, but I’m also excited for what comes next. There’s something wonderful about having the time to travel, find new inspiration, and explore passions and ideas that aren’t always possible when you’re working those long restaurant hours.

Luke, I can’t wait to see what’s next! From travels and pop-ups to a possible sandwich shop and whatever other adventures come your way, I’ll be cheering you on.

Thank you to Luke, Parker, and the entire Cedar + Elm team for so many memorable meals, your incredible generosity, and the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after dinner is over.

Here’s to new adventures and exciting beginnings! 🥂

We're thrilled to share that The Lodge has once again earned a MICHELIN Key, a distinction that celebrates hotels offering a truly special stay.

This recognition belongs to the incredible people who make The Lodge what it is. To our dedicated team, thank you for bringing care, creativity, and genuine hospitality to every guest experience. And to our guests, thank you for choosing to stay, dine, celebrate, and explore with us.

We’re incredibly grateful to continue representing Washington as one of the @michelinguide 2026 Key hotels. 🔑

The single most important point of emphasis that I’d like this next chapter to be defined by is… #gratitude 🫶🏼😌🎁

Gratitude not only for the accomplishments, the big wins, successes, and outward measures of thriving, but also for the mundane and quiet moments that we so often write off as frivolous or something to appreciate down the road.

Because it’s in the smallest moments, the incremental and hidden wins, and the moments of genuine connection with others that we ultimately discover how fulfilling the life we’re living truly is.

Not a life where the scorecard takes precedence or the goalposts keep moving, but one where you’re aligned with what genuinely matters most…

And that can only be defined by you, and you alone.

Yes I’m STILL talking about Saturday in #northcascades because after the overlooks I finally got to some hiking! 🥾🌲🏔️

And what a beautiful hike it was 🤩 I picked a very popular trail because I was traveling solo, but luckily it never felt overcrowded.

You hike up about 2.5 miles to this jewel of a natural glacial lake, enjoying craggy views the whole time. I had lunch here, helped families take pics who also took mine, then continued to hike above the lake - more on those crazy views tomorrow 🥰🤩

Happy Friday! Tell me about your weekend plans!

Luxury has learned to whisper — silence, cedar, and the slow water of a lake at your doorstep.

Healing can’t be booked, but it can be built in spaces that give you…space.

Here, 332 acres of forest unfold along Lake Washington, the trails begin where the building ends, and the spa opens onto the woods so the forest can finish what the treatment starts.🌿🌲

@delasoilrestaurant has added yet another chef to Dinner with Friends: Season 2 😊

@chefgrantrico has spent his career cooking & training in some of the country's most respected kitchens - 3-starred @singlethreadfarms in CA & Element 47 in CO, to name a couple.

He recently helmed Seabird restaurant on Bainbridge & @thegreenwoodamericanbistro and is now creating intimate private dinners and chef collabs! We cannot wait to get into the kitchen with this leading voice in the Seattle dining scene.

He joins the stacked lineup, including:

Chef Aaron Tekulve of @surrellseattle
Chef Luke Kolpin of @cedarandelmseattle
Chef Dan Koomoo of @craftedyakima
Chefs Reginald Jacob Howell & Chef Denzel Johnson of @grannrestaurant
Chefs Seth & Zach Pacleb of @pidgin.cooperative

All happening this fall - Stay tuned for more deets!

I feel like my world has become an efficiency machine, leaving behind the qualities of sometimes annoying, but very human, inefficiency that make the experience on Earth a fulfilling one.

I’m constantly being drawn toward spaces and experiences that require you to be present. To allow quirks and mistakes to pave the answer. Places that use human hands to create and human hearts to listen.

@lodgeatstedward nestled in the forest near Lake Washington one of those places

There is a silk that sways in the halls of this hundred-year-old seminary and it falls the way it has always fallen. When I arrived, there was space and time before I lifted the camera because I had felt this transition brewing and stewing and storming for years - I just hadn’t found a way to navigate it yet.

The Lodge at St. Edward Park. A sanctuary folded into 332 acres of forest, restored so carefully that the quiet survived.

I kept thinking about how a place like this could never be photographed from a template. The template would miss the real, the divine. It would get the room and lose the reverence, the play, the life that breathes this space into orbit.

So this feels like the right place to re-introduce myself. This is Vibe Visuals - while I am always in evolution, it’s clear that the energetic space of my art and my human has shifted since 2019 when I clicked “submit” on my little LLC with high hopes.

I photograph boutique hotels, wellness retreats, and brands whose founders challenge convention, and I come to you listening. I am the mirror. I reflect back what is already alive in what you built, the philosophy in the walls, the feeling your guest carries home without ever finding words for it or needing to.

Your story was never meant to feel like anyone else’s. I am here to make sure it doesn’t.
