I had the privilege this past weekend of filming the very first Feed the Valley fundraiser at 40 Knots Winery 🍷✨

This incredible event was in support of the Comox Valley Food Bank and the amazing work they do for our community ❤️ They’re helping feed over 200 families every single week — truly one of the pillars of the Valley.

It was such an honour to volunteer my time and capture all the effort that went into the night, along with the joy, passion, and energy that filled the room 🙌

I really hope we get to see more events like this in our community — it’s something special 💫

Huge thank you to everyone who was involved and worked so hard to make it happen. It was a massive success 👏

Wow. Feed the Valley lands tomorrow night. 🎉

I find myself incredibly grateful to have had the time and space to do this work, and proud of how things have come together so far. It’s too early to say for sure, but it looks like we’ll hit our goal of $20k in our first year.

This is in large part to the amazing businesses and individuals in our community who bought in. If you offered your services, grabbed a ticket, contributed to the silent auction, or gave me a break on pricing, thank you. 🙏

I’m very much looking forward to tomorrow evening. The weather looks like it’s going to hold up, and we have a great event planned at a beautiful venue.

See you there 😘

The Holidays are here and it feels like Caitlyn and I just got off the plane from Switzerland yesterday. 😬

Off-Season (I used to call it Fall before racing bikes..) is already gone and it was a soggy blast. This was a good time to rest, play and plan ahead for the next season.

Here is some evidence of just that:

1. @gravitymtb.ca sure knows how to make a Holiday staff party 🥳
2. The future of #CanadaDH is bright, wrenching for Junior DH is fun and @stereoracing nailed the mini-World Cup Weekend in Prevost 🏁
3. We managed to peel @johnvanderveen85 off of Zwift for a day
4. Did I say GravityMTB knows how to do staff parties?
5. Fam time 💜
6-7 Casual Mahony Scenes
8. We put numbers on how de-trained I am 🫠
9. XC Sucks, don't do it
10. CGP bound 'cause I only ride Park.
11. Bulk of my gear prep for training season ⛓️
12. Starting a coffee business in the Valley is cool, congrats @cedarstandcoffee ☕️
13. 🐾

Life is going to change a fair bit in the next few months as I'll be making moves to spend more of my life with Caitlyn over in Powell River. The move is a scary thought as the last 4 years in Cumberland have been the best years of my life. Peaches is on board, obviously.

@flowstateracing.ca is going to grow in 2026 and we are beyond excited to share some news with you regarding new sponsors, roster and events! 2026 is going to be awesome. Stay tuned!

I want to wish a Merry Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year to you all and thank you for supporting us at @gravitymtb_suspension_service , it really means a lot to us as we can make a living here because of you. Also, thanks GravityMTB for being an amazing employer.

Now, it's time to lock in, and ride bikes, like, a lot. 🔐

See you in 2026! ✌️
