Twenty-four hours before winning the Ubayak, @deguil_eric paddled the Ubaye River like he had never seen it before. Overnight, the river took back what it had just taught him. Cédric Eyma reports on an unusual brown-water descent of the Ubaye the day before the @ubayak_festival, a reconnaissance run that preceded a double victory for Éric.

After forty years on rivers, I judge equipment on one thing: whether I stop thinking about it.

Cold water, long days, and the two seconds when everything goes wrong — that's where it gets decided.

From today, I'm proud to represent @nrsweb on the water. Kit made by people who paddle, to keep you safe and warm where it counts.

There's a line in the Pyrenees I've been circling for fifteen years, and more seasons ahead. Good to know what I'll be wearing for them.

🇫🇷 Après quarante ans de rivière, je juge le matériel sur une seule chose : est-ce que j'arrête d'y penser. C'est dans l'eau froide, les longues journées et les deux secondes où tout part de travers que ça se décide.
