Last year at @kilelesummit by @santuri_east_africa Germany and Kenya met by chance and it sparked a creative flow.

Some ambient noodling for Monday

Recent gear acquired - ableton move ,mxr textures and the k.o sidekick and the mini freak.
First time getting all these going , I like all of them.

Ableton move is fucking amazing - I wanna now make my own presets (even tho the ones that come with it are very very good)

textures is granular on speed. Sounds amazing , as good or better as the granular engine in serum (which I think is the best sounding granular engine in software) main difference would be the hands on ability of the mxr and how deep it is.

Strymon blue sky - I got it modded to v2 a fuck knows it it’s any better but it works now.

Sidekick - for the cost this thing can’t be beaten for a 2 track mixer.

Oh yep and the mini freak - recent update kicks ass , I’ve always like this synth.

Last week I finally visited Hard Wax to find my Secrets EP on the shelf. 🫠

I want to share how this all came together:

Some of you might remember that last winter I ran a public ranking where I presented eight tracks and asked you all to vote. That process brought me into contact with Eddie from Denude, who gave me very constructive feedback. In the end, that led me to his label and, in May, to this vinyl release. Vinyl is such a beautiful medium, and releasing a record today is a big investment that comes with financial risk.

Thank you, Eddie, for trusting me, supporting my music, and for the considered yet intuitive way you run the label. 😌

Then I met Bjarki at just the right moment in Armenia, which completed the whole story. He’s an artist I’ve admired for years. Thank you for the beautiful contribution. I couldn’t have wished for more. 🤍

And thank you all - your votes not only helped shape this journey, but also the track selection. I’ll always connect this release with you.
