This is me waiting for #PerfectCrownEp3 🥲 Tried archery for the first time! 🏹 And yes I intentionally matched Seong Huiju for this 🤣 My friend @ceej.canvas matched Prince Yi An / I An for the vibe 😅

Birthday week reminded me how lucky I am to have the kind of friends who show up, laugh with me, and turn simple nights into memories I’ll keep for a long time. Getting older, but also getting more grateful for the people around me. This week was one for the books. 🤍

Last Tuesday was PIXAR DAY in our Center. At Movement Matters, Halloween celebrations have never been just about costumes, tricks & treats. In keeping with the MMTC tradition, we dance, play games, create art, take photos (against the beautiful backdrop prepared by our therapists & staff), and, of course, go around the center for Trick or Treat. Further, in MMTC, treats are not limited to candies & biscuits. Kids win treats as prizes in the Halloween-themed games & those can either be their favorite play or movement activities.

And, did you know that our therapists have mastered the technique of incorporating therapy goals into Halloween activities? In this reel, you'll see one of our SLPs help a child use his AAC device to communicate "Trick or Treat" & "Thank you" and another one was practicing articulation with a student. Our OTs, on the other hand, make good use of the Halloween games to provide sensory input, develop motor skills, promote social skills such as taking turns & accepting defeat, and many more. Kids attending PT get to practice their gross motor skills & become motivated to perform exercises better what with all the Halloween fun happening around them. Even our "Ates"/Admin Staff join in the excitement by wearing their best costumes & giving out more treats for the kids.

Hence, for all of us in MMTC, Halloween is actually the most fun & most exciting season for therapy activities!!! 💙🤍🩵
