🎉Inductions & Road Closures for Homecoming Parade🏈

Today we celebrate TWO incredible West Texans who are being inducted into the Lee Legacy Wall of Honor, a tradition recognizing former students, faculty, staff and community members who have made a significant impact on Midland Lee.

Larry Hall has spent decades giving back to Midland and supporting Lee athletics. From volunteering with Keep Midland Beautiful and the Sibley Nature Center to filming Lee football games for decades and supporting the Rebel and Dolls programs, his legacy is one of service and community.

Kedrick Brown, a proud Midland native and Lee graduate, turned his love of theater into a career in acting, directing and education. He has performed nationally and internationally and continues to mentor and encourage young performers.

The 2026 Lee Legacy Wall of Honor induction ceremony is TODAY at 2 p.m. at Midland Lee High School♥️

🚨 PARADE ROAD CLOSURES TONIGHT

If you’re heading to tonight’s parade, plan ahead! The following roads will be closed:

• Tarleton St. between Shandon Ave. & Fannin Ave.
• Shandon Ave. between Tarleton St. & Godfrey St.
• Godfrey St. between Shandon Ave. & Gulf Ave.
• Gulf Ave. between Godfrey St. & Tarleton St.
• Tarleton St. between Gulf Ave. & Sinclair Ave.

Come celebrate, cheer them on and enjoy a great Midland tradition but give yourself extra time and use an alternate route tonight!

This is what Good News Only is all about: celebrating the people who have poured their time, talent and heart into our community.

Congratulations, Larry and Kedrick🎉
Have a safe and Happy Homecoming ♥️
