Custom fabrication meets precision installation. 📐✨

When the design demands clean lines and industrial strength, off-the-shelf just won’t cut it. This custom steel and glass display cabinet was fabricated and mounted seamlessly into this modern wet-bar layout.

The Build: Custom matte-black steel framework featuring integrated glass shelving and multi-panel display doors fabricated by @atelier.cc.inc

The Install: Precise structural mounting directly over intricate tile work—zero room for error.

The Collaboration: Fabricated and brought to life on-site with the hands-on help of The Groundsmen.

Clean lines, solid foundation, and a bold modern finish. 📐✨

A high-end walkway isn’t just about what sits on top—the real work happens underneath. Here is how we transformed this side yard into a resort-style pathway:

Sub-Base & Grade: Hauled in crushed gravel and fine gravel dust, grading and compacting every inch to establish a rock-solid, laser-level baseline.

Pathway Slabs: Set and precision-leveled large architectural pavers for a seamless, floating stepping-stone look.

Weed Defense: Laid down commercial-grade geotextile membrane to lock out weeds permanently while keeping drainage optimal.

The Accent Detail: Filled the rock garden with premium polished black stones imported from Portugal 🇵🇹, creating high contrast against the light slabs and natural cedar fence.

Deck Repair & Restoration

From a rotted eyesore to a rock-solid foundation. 🏗️✨
When the bones of your deck are failing, a quick fix isn't enough. We stripped this build down to the studs, replacing damaged ledger boards and joists to guarantee a structurally sound frame. Plus, we leveled up the utility by pouring a new concrete slab for storage!

Shed Extension

Beyond just landscaping, we build the structures that anchor your property. 🛠️🏡 We just wrapped up a complete turn-key 6x9 shed extension, and every detail—from the sub-floor framing and structural wall integration to the custom roof truss and premium siding—was built for long-term durability.

Quality framing isn’t just about making it look good; it’s about making it last.

From neglected to rejuvenated. 🛠️✨

This downtown backyard was in need of some serious TLC to restore its flow and functionality. We stripped back the years of neglect, prepped the base, and brought in high-quality materials to turn this space back into a functional outdoor oasis.

Huge shoutout to the team at Cinquino in LaSalle for providing the premium sod and top-tier service that made this finish possible. 🚛💚

The massive, prehistoric spread of Field Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) requires an incredibly aggressive approach to permanently suppress it. Traditional weeding won't work on horsetail because its fragile, deep-set underground rhizomes shatter and trigger rapid regeneration.

How we permanently starved out a massive poolside horsetail weed infestation. ⬇️🌿

Standard weeding just makes horsetail mad. Its ancient root system thrives on breakage. To fix this bed for good, we relied on the Lasagna Smothering Method:

🛠️ Deep manual extraction to break the surface crown.
📦 Overlapping heavy cardboard layers to act as a permanent light block.
🪵 A thick, premium bark mulch cap to weigh it down and complete the reset.
Clean, uniform, and structurally protected.
