MOVEMENT SHOT: these are the money shots. Running, jumping, ect. When capturing these it’s important to nail down your settings so that every body part is sharp. I usually like to start with F2.8 and 1/4000 shutterspeed and adjust accordingly. Keep in mind i like to shoot in direct lighting. i also tell models to go half-speed when running to avoid the droopy face look. When jumping, pretend you’re jumping over a big puddle of water. Keep your elbows tight and you’ll love the results 🔥

STRETCH SHOT: if you’re wondering how to start shooting fitness. Tell your model to start stretching. These are easy and it’s a great way to warm up and build momentum during your shoot.

EMOTION SHOT: these are also the money shots. I like the word intensity especially when you’re using props like a slam ball, battle ropes or weights. Make it look like you’re pushing through a workout. I also like capturing the cool down, when your model is resting after slamming stuff or after you’ve made them run/jump a million times.
