Unless you are at the IMG, Elite Models, Chadwick, Vivien’s, Kult (aka a big reputable agency) do not sign a legally binding modeling contract without taking it home to read it again and consult someone you trust. Don’t be afraid that the agency will lose interest if you take a couple of days to sign its contract but also don’t take more than a week to make your decision, any longer will give the message that you are indecisive.

11. There are a lot of things that a new model can do or not do that will make the difference whether they get hired or not: Do not post anything offensive or silly on your social media right before your casting. Also, it’s good you don’t have any content like that on your feed.

12. Don’t take rejection personally. Agents and clients are evaluating your look to determine if it is right for their particular needs, it is not an evaluation of who you are as a person. This is not the time to argue with an agent or client or try to convince them that they are wrong. You will never win this argument. Granted, some agents and clients can be harsh but carry on. It’s like you shopping for a pair of hiking boots. If the salesman wants you to buy sandals it just won’t do, even if they’re the styliest shoes you’ve seen.

Are you losing your faith in Creative & Modelling Facebook groups?
I know I am!
Most of these pages are so focused on the financial side of it that they ignore the fundamentals of what it actually takes to be a part of this industry. They give us little to no information about the importance of mindset, safety or even how to navigate through this industry (properly), IN-FACT they see most informative and motivational posts from knowledgeable professionals as 'spam' and 'annoying' and won't even let the most experienced Members share their motivational guidance that will encourage and help the newbies in many different ways!
