200 shows later and the hardest contract I’ve ever done is over!! This show was such a breeding ground for growth, laughter, friendship, and sweat (bruh. It was hot).

Twas a privilege to pee 💛

Life so busy that I completely forgot to gush about this production. This has been a dream show of mine for so long, and this cast, crew, and creative team were more than I ever could’ve imagined. From the stupid inside jokes we would make backstage to the stupid outside jokes we made on it, my ribs are still sore from laughing. I learned so much along the way. Some examples include: Parker is 6’3”, exactly where to shake ass so the audience can’t see, and how to look at Alec without smiling (really hard btw). To everyone who had a hand in making this unforgettable piece of theatre, you have my whole muscular, blood-pumping organ... also known as my heart.

Theatre school is so weird. Tap to learn more.

✧6:45 a.m. I wake up (probably hit snooze once) and I make myself 6 eggs that my chickens so humbly laid for me. I get ready for school and drive to the train station.
✧7:24 a.m. is when the train leaves for Salt Lake Central. I get to the train station at 7:23am which means I have to hurry and park and probably run to the train.
✧It’s 9am and now I’m spinning and doing the splits, and on occasion, me and @_aribagley are doing headstands after class is over.
✧10:30 a.m. I’m sliding on my knees, and someone is telling me to do crunchy granola when I thought it was just a food (hello, Fosse).
✧I go to work for a second to build sets (mostly paint and yap with my boss).
✧Around 1pm I’m in a matching costume with @sophi.a.keller , and we’re singing about being special “roommates” with @dodgehyatt (don’t worry, it’s just Cabaret) or I am singing a risqué song from the 1940s about wanting to go to a hotel (and well, you can guess the rest) with a woman much younger than me being played by my friend who is in fact a lesbian shout out @rorab0realis . But it’s better than first semester when @_lucasbmorley was asking me to pee in his cup or when I was falling apart about my wife wanting to divorce me to @ratanak_u
✧I go back to work and yap some more, probably with @mary.grenda
✧6 p.m. rolls around, and I am stuck in PTAB for the next 4 hours, either being an UPS man holding a package to my crotch and yearning for @ellahaysscheer who can’t stop talking about Ireland or if it’s second semester sitting in the corner and taking notes with Miss @tally_ballas (we’re just yapping about the human experience) and talking to spot op. #2 @adriel.carroll while not preparing for understudy night (I ended up swinging 3 times).
✧It is then midnight, and I’m on the front runner heading towards Ogden. Clearfield is my stop. I get in the car and belt my face off all the way home. Just to shower and do it all the next day. God, was it fun though. And next year there will be less run on sentences.

Next year will be full of turns and sweet tea; that’s all I know.

what an awesome show to round off an insane senior year and college as a whole. after my four years growing in the @uofumtp, it was so fun to grow right back down as little sally :) thank you @profeggers and @trevbot9k , and @celestecpalermo and @_aribagley for putting together such a silly, scrappy show. and a huge shoutout to the designers, SM team, crew, and everyone who came to see Urinetown. see you all… well, you know where.
