Focaccia Mortazza - $17 - Rating, well, it’s obvious isn it? It’s a bloody 5!

Indulge in a luscious golden focaccia, boasting a perfect balance of softness and subtle crunch, accompanied by the finest mortadella, housemade pesto, and velvety stracatella cheese, all crowned with a generous sprinkle of pistachio nuts.

As a discerning critic who values taste, texture, overall balance, service, vibe, and, most notably, the price-to-portion ratio, I can confidently declare that this sandwich attains perfection in every department. Remarkably, the journey to craft these sandwich recipes, including the meticulously perfected focaccia, spanned an entire year.

Indulge in an oversized portion of excellence – the focaccia, a masterpiece in itself, is soft, fluffy, bouncy, has a light toasting and isn’t oily at all like its competitors. Celeste drew parallels to savouring a fresh panini in Florence. Nestled within this exceptional bread, the mortadella reigns supreme—its melting tenderness, profound flavour without being overpowering, creates a harmonious duet with the creamy cheese. The faultless house-made pesto adds a zingy freshness to each bite, and the pistachio nuts introduce a delightful texture, enhancing the overall experience.

This hidden gem is a charming enclave, housing passionate and caring individuals within its cozy confines. With only three options on the menu, my recommendation would be to savour the delightful experience of them all, by sharing with your companions.

If I were you, I’d be making sure I get here early so you don’t miss out, as they have limited stock. You won’t regret it.
