new york minute🏙️✨🍾 every aspect of this trip was truly so inspiring! meeting my role model @diarrhaxo was truly unreal and I can’t even find the words to express my gratitude! Working with my amazing team members to bring this amazing vision to life felt so surreal. I know Ashlee was there in spirit smiling down on me and cheering me on. I felt her warmth and her joy amidst this time. I miss her so much and it was hard being in a city that she loved but it was awesome seeing pieces of her every where. I’m taking this one day at a time. Thank you to my @fidm family for an amazing trip! Student Success Story! ⭐️ Meet @celi.tapia, a Beauty Management major at @fidm & a participant of the NRF Foundation Student Challenge this year! “My major is beauty management, and I am currently working in retail at Sephora in Redlands, CA. I’m looking for an internship or something above that is related to beauty. I had a couple of experiences with beauty brands, such as interning for Petite n’ Pretty in Beverly Hills, volunteering for Credo Beauty’s Clean Beauty Summit, and creating a virtual event for Pixi Beauty. As part of my beauty management major, I am currently working on a capstone project with a beauty brand. My whole life revolves around beauty. It is a passion of mine, and I know it is just the beginning of my career. I participated in the NRF Challenge this year, and it helped me push further with my skills. I enjoyed my experience with NRF and the challenge because it made me reflect on myself and pushed me to expand my skill set. I am more than grateful for my experience with NRF Foundation.” Congrats on all your success, Celi!! 👏💗

FIDM Graduation round 1 complete 💋 I came to FIDM with a dream of graduating from the Beauty Marketing & Product Development major with honors, and I am proud to say that is exactly what I did! Getting accepted into FIDM as a junior in High school was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and helped me get through these two years even when other people were telling me that I “couldn’t do it” or that I’d “never make it”. Well to all my haters guess what I’m one degree hotter and I walked the stage in red bottoms💋 Thank you to my parents who pushed me to follow my dreams and to them and my friends for dealing with my mental break downs lol. I love you all so so much! To my fellow A.A. Beauty Marketing & Product Development Graduates (some pictured!), WE DID IT! We had one hell of a year and still pushed through and came out together and stronger than ever! All of our in-class mental break downs were worth it! Also shout out to the professors who had to calm half of the class down because we were all in tears and losing it lmao. But we did it and I’m so proud of every one of y’all!
