Catch the behind the scenes of our feature film: Art of Deceit.

We had table reads since last year and waited for rewrites, then more table reads.

We continued February of this year, having special guests join us.

As we got closer to principal photography, our actors gathered often to connect, do acting exercises, script analysis and rehearsals.

Our actors commitment to the craft was spot on! Thank you.

Please follow our journey at @art_of_deceit for all updates and share with friends.

12 tickets left to hit our goal to green light our premier.

What does that mean?

Our theatrical deal is split into two categories.

1. independent Movie taking on our film as a private release. The take a major or most of the seats sales and we make funds from sponsors, trades, and merchandise at our table.

2. We partnered with Gathr to aid in our pitches to reach the major theaters. This is awesome because it puts more power in the filmmaker and audience hands-but there’s a trick to it! AMC, Marcus, Regal, etc-they don’t believe filmmakers can bring in an audience for their films. They add a bunch of fees and large thresholds. We have to sell at least 60% of the seats to cover the bare costs before they officially give us the space. The date is frozen on their side up to a certain point in which the creator and audience has to rally behind the movie.

You see why I’ve been pushing? 😂

Some people have asked me why go through all this work? It’s simple for me. Our voices need to be heard. New ideas have to be shared.

Is it worth it? I think so.

Let me know what you think and which premier you’ll be joining us at! 🫶

Had a blast this past weekend at the Atlanta season 3 premiere of M3real1ty, on the heels of the NYC premiere I attended in June. Creator Dajour Ashwood continues to inspire me.

Was excited to share a scene (last slide) with fellow Actors Army member LaDonna Jackson.

Thanks to Actors Army members Julie Kendall and Celia Isla for coming out to support us!

Season 3 drops on multiple platforms in September. Check out seasons 1 and 2 on Amazon and Tubi.

M3real1ty season 3 cast at Atlanta premiere

With Moneca Monyo (Brittney Level)

With Sharis the therapist (Tina Witherby)

With my husband, Judge Luke Pritt (Travis Hipkens).

Dr. Baskerville (LaDonna Jackson)

With all my fellow Actors Army members - Julie Kendall (Shelly Grey in season 2), LaDonna Jackson (Dr. Baskerville in season 3), and Celia Isla.

The ’80s are taking over Zumba this Tuesday! 🎶💖
Break out the neon, bold prints, leg warmers, leotards, off the shoulder tops, big hair or channel your inner Jane Fonda! You can even come as your favorite ’80s singer, actor, movie character, or video-game character. 👾🎤
Dressing up is completely optional, so you can always come as you are but it’s even more fun when we all join in! 😄
