God stemning, høyt nivå og en skikkelig fin miks av seilere på tvers av klasser og generasjoner. 14 race kom i mål før vinden takket for seg, og etter noen timer under AP ble det slutt for dagen.

That’s a wrap on a double whammy

Job 1 — Maxi Worlds with V Racing, + honestly, the brief was my dream.

They didn’t just want more epic sailing footage. They wanted me to caoture the people + the stories that actually show who they are.

This is totally in my film-girl DNA — actuality, personality + finding the story.

I kept things minimal + subtle around the team to keep it natural, shooting everything photo + video on the A7V with a basic rig, top mic only. I originally bought it for onboard filming with Malizia and it’s become a dreamy little hybrid setup.

The challenge at these big regattas is access, so during racing out came the 200–600 on the chase boat.

Shot two is handheld, 600, S&Q, using my body as the gimbal from a fair way off. Sometimes I sacrifice stability to get the shot.

It’s actually how I filmed a lot when I started with the sailing team — the 200–600 was the only lens. Turns out those slightly crazy early days taught me a lil superpower.

Best bit was working with David on the chase boat, absolute legend.

Then somehow I got a fluppin’ day off between jobs in paradise, so obviously hired a moped + went winging some guy kindly filmed me on his potato phone for the mems

Job 2 — Swan Cup.

Completely different job + setup. From focusing on one yacht and staying small, to covering a regatta with 170 boats as part of a five-person production team with @tidalpulsemedia

Out came the big guns — FX3 rigged for land + my very tired, increasingly salty A7S III for full gimbal mode on the water.

Yes, taking 3 bodies is overkill. Sorry not sorry.

I can’t add any gimbal goodness to this post but we got some bangers + never have I EVER seen drone/FPV work like @patrick.fpv - level up

Favourite part was dancing hard with @themagentaproj girls

Massive week + after a giant few months. Seven back-to-back jobs done and I’d be fibbing if I said I wasn’t feeling it.

So time to recharge me + my kit — before the next big one in October.
