POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It started freshman year…

First year officially done and my first post 🫣Are y’all proud of me?

To think that this year would be filled with so many new experiences and new faces. I wouldn’t have made it through the year if it weren’t for every kind stranger I met and story we created.

Here’s to many more first’s, amazing people, and the UT raccoons. 🤘🧡

#tb to the 2017 8th grade dance with 3 of my mentees. I miss these girls so much, and I can’t believe they’ll be in 10th grade next year! Where has the time gone?! .

I have 7 mentees, and we would meet as a group at least once a month. May 26th, 2017 was our very last meeting (minus one baby). 5 of my angels (1 not pictured) are headed to high school. It has been my absolute pleasure being a part of their lives and their growth. They have helped me become a better person and teacher, and I can't believe this #Gsquad will no longer be together at Killough again. I am so proud of you girls, and I love y'all so incredibly much!!! I will always be your mentor! Never forget that!

My 4th period was the longest period of the day, and I was always so thankful for that. This class had an amazing ability to turn my frowns upside down. They were so patient with me, and they were able to participate in the most intellectual conversations I've ever been able to have with students their age. They had such a thirst for knowledge, and they put up with me at my very worst, always making sure they tried to make things better. They made it easy to love my job!
