Live Music at the Gather Inn Again Part III was a success! We had a great turnout for this open community event, welcoming everyone ages 18 and older. The night featured two talented southern Brooklyn artists: Kid Nice, a power pop and indie rock band made up of cousins Thom and Alex, and Céline Iris, an indie pop and rock artist based in the Ditmas Park area.

Kid Nice blends Brooklyn and Arizona roots with a nostalgic, 90s-inspired sound that grew out of casual home jam sessions dating back to 2019. Céline Iris combines emotional storytelling, atmospheric production, and danceable energy, drawing inspiration from artists such as Tame Impala, Mitski, and Jungle. As a grassroots not-for-profit organization, the Marine Park Young Adults Association believes in supporting local artists and creating accessible events that bring people together. While many of our programs focus on young adults throughout southern Brooklyn, we also host open community events for a wider audience.

Performances from Kid Nice and Céline Iris were recorded in 4K and will be uploaded soon to our YouTube channel and website at marineparkyoungadults.org. Special thanks to The Gather Inn Again and Jaime, the owner, for being such a great venue and host, and thank you to Kid Nice and Céline Iris for their excellent performances. Part IV coming soon!

This open community event welcomes the general public, with everyone 18+ invited to attend. The night will feature Kid Nice, a band made up of cousins Thom and Alex, who blend Brooklyn and Arizona roots into a nostalgic, high-energy mix of power pop and indie rock. Live Music at the Gather Inn Again returns for Part III on Friday, May 29th, 2026, bringing together two distinct but complementary sounds for another strong night in Gerritsen Beach. This is an open community event, welcoming the general public as everyone 18+ is invited to attend.

Kid Nice, a band made up of cousins Thom and Alex, blends Brooklyn and Arizona roots into a nostalgic, high-energy mix of power pop and indie rock. What started in 2019 as casual jam sessions in Thom’s parents’ home, between rounds of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, has grown into a project rooted in family, friendship, and the spirit of 90s-inspired music. Their sound captures that raw, fun energy of being young, carefree, and making music with the people closest to you.

Joining them is Céline Iris, an indie pop/rock artist whose music balances emotional depth with danceable, atmospheric production. Her upcoming debut EP, Acid Kiss, reflects her ability to turn introspective storytelling into something you can move to, drawing inspiration from artists like Tame Impala, Mitski, and Jungle. Developed alongside her producer and collaborator Michael Spearman through a series of basement recording sessions in Philadelphia, her sound is both polished and deeply personal.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, and tickets will be available at the door or in advance at tickets.marineparkyoungadults.org. Hosted at the Gather Inn (2718 Gerritsen Ave), this event continues to build a consistent and growing live music presence in the neighborhood. Organized by the Marine Park Young Adults Association, Part III is shaping up to be another great night bringing the community together through live music.
