Another year and another moment in which my heart is truly full. Last night my cousin Jamie Sheena presented the Dennis Dallal Award to this years recipient, Ethan Bloom. Being there to honor Ethan’s achievements and remember Dennis was incredibly meaningful. Jamie’s words perfectly captured Ethan’s essence, and it is so evident how much he is loved by everyone. Thank you Jamie. One of my favorite quotes by Maya Angelou has always been “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This will continue to remind me of who Ethan is and how he shows up in life, always living in the moment and leaving an imprint on everyone he encounters. Congratulations Ethan on all of your amazing achievements, we wish you success in all of your future endeavors. There is truly no one more deserving of this award.

Every year I am reminded exactly why it is so important to keep Dennis’ legacy at Great Neck North High School alive and strong. Twenty eight years have gone by, yet his sprit shines brighter than ever because of all of you. Thank you, Michelle, for your endless support throughout the years. Thank you for truly capturing the essence of what it means to be the recipient of this award in such a eloquent and seamless manner. As you said, “to know him, was to love him,” and continuing to show up for him on this day and all others is a clear testament to just how loved he was by all those who crossed his path. Mazel Tov to Jaren Solomon for being this years winner of the Dennis Dallal Memorial Award. Jaren may your life always be filled with the best of blessings, wonderful people, and amazing adventures. We hope you continue to seize every moment of every day!

My family is always so unbelievably happy and honored to meet the recipients of the Dennis Dallal award. This year Christopher Yang and Eden Fouladi the worthy recipients. My cousin, Lisa Sheena Jonisch so graciously presented the award and captured Dennis's essence. Thank you, Lisa. Love you!
This event is always meaningful, and we were thrilled to have an in-person ceremony this year. I also want to take a moment to acknowledge last year's recipient as well - Isaac Turofsky. We are proud of all of Christopher, Eden and Isaac’s achievements. They truly exemplify who Dennis was and what he stood for.
Congratulations to all the graduates of 2022!
