Great few days starting in Edinburgh and on to Crail with Jill Calder in the Kirk Hall and onto Pittenweem to the West End Bar to watch the @lionesses ! My mum was a Fifer (from Lochgelly). When in Fife, she would always say ‘lovely light in Fife’ . She comes in the road trips with me ! Thanks to @elsedenise for the fab photos ! And to @cellardykeiain for the wine and the shortbread!

Glasgow part II- had an amazing last day and night in my home city. Went to see the extraordinary #maudsulterestate exhibition at The Tramway, Kindred Spirit. (0n until the end of the month - a must. )And had a fabulous night with fellow bards @unistrathclyde - my first literary salon event with @michaelpedersenoyster @lavery.hannah and Liz Lochhead. And met up with old pals and new ones. @cellardykeiain had come from Cellardyke! I hope I’m that cool at 90!

Quite a time of it in the dear green place - went to see the extraordinary exhibition of #maudsulter @thetramway which took me back & made me think again how ahead of her time she was ; went to the fabulous @unistrathclyde and read with fellow poets @michaelpedersenoyster, @lavery.hannah and Liz Lochhead - a night fizzing with energy and hope! And met old pals and new ones including @cellardykeiain and @janicemaryparker ! Iain had come through from Cellardyke - if I could be as cool as him at 90! Now nearer his parts in St Andrews getting ready for @violetwise_sta tonight and @stanzapoetry ra morrow! Oh the life of the travelling bard!
